Join The Recording Club!
by Amy Hunter

Because many of our members have expressed an interest in getting more recording time out in the field, The Nature Sounds Society has created The Recording Club. The Recording Club is designed to provide more recording expeditions for our members specifically interested in recording natural sounds. These trips are in addition to our annual field recording workshop in June but will be smaller and less formal. Our goal in creating the Recording Club is to get more hours in the field and to utilize the vast experience of our membership to guide us to pristine locations year-round. Our first trip will be January 13-14, 1996. We will be traveling to The Sacramento Wildlife Refuge and Gray Lodge Wildlife Management Area to observe and record migrating geese and other wintering waterfowl. For more information about our January trip and to sign up for The Recording Club, please contact Amy Hunter at (415) 346-6969 or amyleigh01@aol.com. Or call The Nature Sounds Society at (510) 238-7482.
